LONDON, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- A traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Acupuncture-Moxibustion event was held Sunday at the University of Cambridge, Britain, which grabbed lots of local people's attention.
Under the theme "'the Belt and Road' TCM Acupuncture-Moxibustion Glamour Tour UK," experts and scholars from numbers of countries exchanged views and discussed a wide range of topics, such as British TCM education, inheritance of the TCM, as well as the TCM Acupuncture-Moxibustion treatment and health care.
The event was aimed at enhancing the dialogue and communication between China and western countries in the TCM, and participants were invited to experience TCM diagnosis, treatment and health care on the spot.
Oscar Gillestie, councilor of Cambridge City Hall, hailed the high-level academic exchanges conducted at Cambridge University.
He said it was the first time for Cambridge to hold such an international Acupuncture-Moxibustion conference, and local people were extremely fascinated by it.
